Our Moment
Daehyun got a shake of Chaelin's head instead of a slap and he sighed. Chaelin explained how she couldn't stay because even though Seoul was a city that never died, taxis weren't always available. The drivers never saw the point in driving at night since people barely took taxis at late hours. Knowing that she was right, Daehyun started to puzzle. He really didn't want to stay alone, not for now at least. He had been living alone for so long already since he moved out of his parents' house. He thought that, maybe she would stay if he could bring her home with his car. Upon request, Chaelin nodded and sat back down, slacking off for the first time today. She couldn't deny: he was a really nice person. Chaelin looked and him and thought that maybe befriending Daehyun -- or let him try to befriend her -- wouldn't be such a bad idea. Despite her cold demeanour towards him, when he even witnessed her being all warm and nice with Bbang, he's still pushing his chances. It was a change. No-one ever wanted to push their luck with someone such as herself; the Queen, but he was the King and supposed alliance; they should co-operate. So maybe... "Why... Why do you push your luck so much, Daehyun?" "I have my reasons." Daehyun didn't feel like telling anything, Chaelin knew, so she just dropped the subject. Instead, she stood up and sat beside him. Her affectionnate side started to take over and the male had been looking so attractive
